Yeah, baby! Yeah!

Read yesterday’s diary entry and you’ll know why we REALLY appreciate it when a show goes well like this. I’ve been hired by Orono six times now, and they always have the coolest crowd in the world. And I perform better when I actually LIKE the crowd. All the people here feel like friends. (Many of them are!)

So – last year our CD was at #1 on WMEB, the radio station here, so a lot of people here have it, and know all the songs. ‘Tis always nice to have my songs treated with the same great response that often comes only to the cover songs.

Strangest thing – we were about to do "Everything I Love is Taken Away" – and someone shouted out, "Stuck In the Middle!" – the song from Reservoir Dogs. I was going to do 8 bars of it as a joke. But as soon as I did, that’s the song that got everyone up & dancing. How strange. (How white!)
